Report a Concern
If you feel that a child is in immediate danger please contact the emergency services directly by calling 999.
Advice for Professionals
If you have an urgent concern please do not hesitate to call the MASH immediately on 0300 126 7000 where you will be able to speak to a professional who will listen to and record your concern. You will be required to submit a written copy of the referral following this conversation if it meets the thresholds for a referral.
If there is no immediate danger, you should establish the level of need and risk before you take action. You should do ths by using the Thresholds & Pathways document which will help you.
If you then believe your concern meets the threshold for statutory intervention please either call the MASH on 0300 126 7000 or complete the online referral form.
Advice for Parents / Carers / Members of the Public
If you feel that a child is in immediate danger you should call 999.
If you are worried or concerned about something that has happened to you, a friend or someone you know, please contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub on 0300 126 7000. They will be able to talk through your concern and advise what will happen next.
Concerns about Adults Working with Children & Young People
Where you have a concern about an adult working with children & young people these should be reported to the Designated Officer for Northamptonshire. Details on how to do this can be found on the link below.
