Thresholds and Pathways
Read the full version of Thresholds & Pathways
Northamptonshire Thresholds and Pathways is part of a set of documents and tools designed to provide clear guidance to practitioners working with children, families and young people.
It ensures there are consistent approaches, practice and use of terminology across all agencies.
Thresholds should be used by all practitioners when assessing the level of support needed for a child / family.
If you have a concern about a child, you should follow the advice on the 'Worried About a Child' page. Where a child is not in immediate danger, you should establish the level of risk using Thresholds and Pathways to do this and determine if a referral to MASH is required.
The NSCP also offers training on the application of Thresholds & Pathways which can be accessed via our Training Page.
